SENIORS! YOU MUST BE OBLIGATION FREE TO OBTAIN GRADUATION TICKETS AT SENIOR PARENT NIGHT NEXT WEEK!
Seniors must be obligation free in order for their parents to pick up Graduation tickets at the Senior Parent Nights, which are Tuesday, March 26 and Wednesday, April 3. Obligation letters have been mailed home and given to students through their first period classes. Obligations may be paid at the Business Office before school, during lunch, after school and online through Online School Payments on the GHS website. They may also be paid at the Senior Parent Nights. Please contact Mrs. Donner, School Business Administrator, with any questions.
SAT School Day is Tuesday April 9th
SAT School Day is on Tuesday April 9 for any grade 11 student who is interested. Only the “regular” SAT will be given free of charge (no essay or subject tests). If students want to take these versions of the exam, then they need to register and pay for them and take them at an alternate location.
Grade 11 students will not need to register for SAT School Day, as MCPS has centrally registered students with College Board through a bulk registration process. There are a limited number of vouchers for students wishing to take the ACT exam instead.
Parents will need to give consent for their student to participate in the optional questionnaire. Parents can provide consent via the paper form (Click here and select "2019 SAT SchDay Letter") or online via the myMCPS Parent Portal. More information is also posted for parents here: https://www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/curriculum/careercenter/testing/sat-school-day.aspx.
