Announcement: The Courageous Queens at Gaithersburg High School are hosting the second annual Pack-A-Purse campaign. The campaign started October 1 and will end on November 18. Please pack a gently used purse with personal care items like toothbrushes/toothpaste, tissues, shampoo, etc and drop off in the Wellness Center.

Announcement: The Minority Scholars Leadership Program, is a student-led group whose mission is to help increase the academic success of minority students and foster positive relationships. If you were a part of the Minority Scholars Program in Middle School, it is only natural to continue to enjoy the benefits of leadership that the Minority Scholars Program offers. Announcement: DUAL ENROLLMENT: MC Courses at GHS for Spring Semester
Juniors and Seniors, Dual Enrollment with Montgomery College registration is open for Spring 2020 semester. Earn college credit while in high school. Three MC courses will be offered at Gaithersburg HS during Periods 2 & 3 for Spring 2020. Many other courses are offered on campus. The $25 application fee to Montgomery College is waived through April. Come find out more information about Dual Enrollment and how it can save you time and money. Announcement: The STEM-up club is sponsoring the schoolwide “Recycle Rally” competition for the month of November. We need at list 5 teams (with 3 members) to enlist for this competition. You will get one big bevel recycle bin for participating, and the team that will have the most plastic bottles, aluminum cans recycled when we audit your collection on November 26th after school, will win. Who can join? group of teachers, any GHS staff, group of students, a club or anyone in GHS. You can start collecting bottles, aluminum cans from today until November 26th. Announcement: Are you a Smasher? Do you enjoy playing Super Smash Brothers Ultimate? Are you Competitive? PODER will be holding an interest meeting for students interested in competing in their Super Smash Brother tournament. The meeting will be held during lunch on Wednesday November 13th and Friday November 15th in room 3012, with the tournament beginning after school Monday November 18th, and continues Wednesday November 20th, and culminating on Friday November 22nd. There will be a themed prize for the winner of the tournament, as well as the winner of the “losers bracket.” This is a free tournament.
