Announcement: The Millionaires Club meets the first and third Mondays of the month in Room 2024 during lunch. The purpose of this club is to encourage and promote financial and investment literacy by utilizing a stock market simulation and engaging students in practical discussions that will increase their personal financial knowledge

Announcement:  DUAL ENROLLMENT: MC Courses at GHS start Jan. 29!

Juniors and Seniors, enrollment for second semester courses at Montgomery College is wrapping up soon, with classes starting the week of Jan. 27. Students cannot be added once a class has begun. Students must be fully admitted by the Dual Enrollment Program and registered in the class before the start of the class. Apply to MC and enroll in Dual Enrollment to save time and money. Graduate from HS with earned college credit. Two MC courses will be offered at Gaithersburg HS during Periods 2 & 3 for second semester.

Announcement:  The Internship Program is currently accepting applications for next year.  Please see Ms. Shaw in Room 1157 for more details.  Applications can also be picked up outside of her office or can be found on the GHS Website.  Talk to your counselor and Ms. Shaw to see how an Internship opportunity can help make you College & Career Ready.  

Announcement:  Students, you must purchase a Second Semester Parking Permit if you would like to park on school property next Tuesday.

Applications are available in the Main Office.

Completed applications should have been turned in already in the business office.  An application may be submitted now but there is no guarantee that it will be approved before the start of the Second Semester.

After the application has been approved, permits may be picked up in the Business Office from Mrs. Hudson starting next Wednesday, January 22.  The cost is $37.50 and may be made by cash, check, credit or debit card.

All students parking on school property starting on Tuesday, January 28 must have a new parking permit.  The permit is a different color so don’t use the old one!  Students that do not comply with this policy may potentially have their vehicle towed, have fines imposed or face disciplinary action.

Announcement:  There will be a free dental event occurring at Wisteria Dental Care clinic located in Germantown on February 22 from 9am-5pm. This is open to all children ages 0-18 who do not have insurance. Anyone interested, please stop by the health room to get more information.

The Fair will have free self-care stations like playing games, coloring, relaxing, and more! Participants have a chance to win a self-care gift basket! So join us on Friday, January 17th to de-stress!

Help After Prom Go Wild
